Portland Greens Streets Caught on Video
Sarah Cushman, founder and lead organizer of the all-volunteer Portland Green Streets effort to get more folks trying alternate modes, was tabling for the project in downtown Portland and got caught on video by a local Green Streeter:
PortlandGreenStreets.org (Maine) from CTD3 on Vimeo.
CTD3 writes:
“Sarah Cushman founded PortlandGreenStreets.org almost a year ago. I saw her downtown and asked her “What’s the deal?” The archival bicycle footage is from a very weird safety film shot in Los Angeles and has a very familiar VO artist and kids who are monkeys and one by one get picked off due to their failure to be safe cyclists – you can find it here: archive.org/details/OneGotFa1963
Sarah’s done a great job of steering folks toward green-ness-ing – the track is samples of a Seal track ‘Let Me Roll’.”
